Born in Argentina, educated in Denmark and the United States, Erik Speyer has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to his art.  His earlier professional responsibilities as a Navy pilot and director, first of Planet Ocean Science Center and then the Miami Museum of Science, allowed time for painting  on weekends and vacations.  During those years he had numerous exhibits.

Until 1997, Speyer worked exclusively in watercolors. Since then he began to paint in oils, both in the studio and en plein air. 

He wrote and illustrated the prize-winning children’s book s“The Adventures of KUBI” and “Kubi Meets Rosita”.

 All proceeds from the sale of these paintings will go to the Santa Fe Food Depot.

I will send the paintings when I have proof that they has been purchased. Framed paintings cannot be sent but picked up here in Santa Fe.
